TERMS OF USE

By purchasing a ticket to the FUTURA AI Conference 2026, the participant declares that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and Ticket Purchase Policy. FUTURA AI Conference 2026 will take place in Brasília, Federal District, Brazil, from September 2 to 4, 2026, bringing together participants, researchers, companies, institutional representatives, investors, and national and international experts in artificial intelligence, regulation, business, science, and technology. Ticket purchases will be made through the Eventbrite platform, and the participant will also be subject to Eventbrite’s own terms, conditions, payment policies, refund policies, fees, and operational procedures.

1. Ticket Purchase

The purchase of a ticket grants the participant the right to access FUTURA AI Conference 2026 according to the ticket category purchased, the valid dates, permitted areas, and the conditions disclosed at the time of purchase.

The ticket is personal and may be subject to identity verification, check-in, and validation by the event organizers.

The organizers may establish different ticket categories, including but not limited to: general admission, promotional tickets, early-bird batches, VIP tickets, institutional credentials, press credentials, sponsor credentials, invitations, complimentary passes, and other access formats.

Purchase confirmation, ticket issuance, QR code delivery, order management, and payment processing will follow Eventbrite’s procedures.

2. Eventbrite Platform

Eventbrite acts as the platform for ticket sales, processing, issuance, and management. By purchasing a ticket, the participant acknowledges that certain aspects of the purchase—such as payment method, order confirmation, ticket issuance, platform fees, refund requests, and technical support related to the purchase—may be processed directly by Eventbrite.

The participant must comply with Eventbrite’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, refund rules, and other applicable policies.

In the event of any discrepancy between these Terms and Eventbrite’s operational rules relating to the platform’s operation, Eventbrite’s technical and commercial procedures may prevail, especially with respect to payment, ticket issuance, orders, chargebacks, fees, and refund methods.

3. Changes to the Program, Speakers, and Activities

The participant acknowledges that the FUTURA AI Conference 2026 program may be changed at any time, including after the ticket purchase.

For operational, institutional, technical, academic, logistical, commercial, security, scheduling, or force majeure reasons, the organizers may:

  • change the times of talks, panels, roundtables, workshops, Pitch Day, networking sessions, or other activities;

  • replace, add, or remove speakers, moderators, guests, judges, or other program participants;

  • modify the order of panels or activities;

  • change rooms, stages, formats, tracks, or event environments;

  • adapt the program due to the availability of authorities, national or international speakers, sponsors, institutional partners, or vendors.

The purchase of a ticket does not guarantee the presence of any specific speaker, authority, company, institution, or guest, even if their name has previously been disclosed in communication materials, the website, social media, the Eventbrite page, advertisements, promotional pieces, or commercial materials.

Any changes to the program, speakers, schedules, panels, or activities shall not, by themselves, give rise to any right to cancellation, refund, discount, indemnification, or compensation, provided that the event is held in its essential form and maintains its main purpose.

4. Nature of the Event

FUTURA AI Conference 2026 is a content, connection, debate, and networking event focused on artificial intelligence, technology, regulation, science, business, investment, and public policy.

The participant acknowledges that the event experience is made up of the overall program, environment, participants, panels, activations, discussions, and networking opportunities, and not by the participation of any individual speaker, company, authority, or specific guest.

5. Refund Policy

The refund policy applicable to the ticket shall be the one disclosed on the event’s official Eventbrite page at the time of purchase.

Refund requests should preferably be submitted through the Eventbrite platform, in accordance with the procedures made available to the participant.

The organizers will review refund requests in accordance with the policy published on the event page, these Terms, Eventbrite’s rules, and applicable law.

Eventbrite states that the organizer is responsible for defining the event’s refund policy and responding to refund requests within up to 5 business days.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, service fees, processing fees, ticket issuance fees, platform charges, or amounts charged by third parties may be non-refundable in accordance with Eventbrite’s rules. Eventbrite itself states that its ticketing fees are non-refundable unless the organizer chooses to cover them.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Where applicable, the participant may exercise the right of withdrawal in accordance with Brazilian law and Eventbrite’s specific rules for participants in Brazil.

Eventbrite has specific rules for Brazilian consumers regarding purchase withdrawal and refunds for event tickets, and the participant must observe the deadlines and procedures indicated by the platform.

7. Cancellation, Postponement, or Change of Venue

In the event of the full cancellation of the event by decision of the organizers, participants will be informed of the applicable refund or compensation conditions, subject to Eventbrite’s rules and applicable law.

In the event of postponement, rescheduling, or a change of venue within the same city or region, the purchased ticket will remain valid for the new date or new venue, unless expressly stated otherwise.

The date, venue, structure, program, or format of the event may be changed for operational, contractual, institutional, weather-related, health-related, technical, security, force majeure, unforeseen event, or public authority reasons.

The organizers shall not be responsible for the participant’s personal expenses, including but not limited to airfare, lodging, transportation, meals, visas, insurance, professional commitments, or any other costs related to participation in the event.

8. Ticket Transfer

Ticket transfers, when permitted, must comply with the procedures made available by Eventbrite.

Eventbrite states that it is not possible to transfer a ticket from one account to another, but it may be possible to edit the order information to place the ticket in another person’s name, subject to the platform’s rules.

The organizers may limit, block, or condition transfers for reasons of security, access control, ticket category, commercial policy, or proximity to the event date.

9. Registration and Event Access

The participant must present an identification document, ticket, QR code, proof of registration, or any other validation method requested by the organizers or by Eventbrite.

The organizers may deny access to or remove from the event any participant who:

  • displays inappropriate, offensive, discriminatory, aggressive conduct, or conduct incompatible with the event environment;

  • fails to comply with security, registration, or circulation rules;

  • attempts to access unauthorized areas;

  • uses another person’s credentials without authorization;

  • engages in conduct that places other participants, speakers, staff, sponsors, or the event itself at risk.

10. Special Activities, Restricted Areas, and Additional Benefits

Activities such as Pitch Day, mentoring sessions, lounges, investor meetings, VIP areas, dinners, workshops, sponsor activations, private rooms, and closed-door meetings may be subject to their own rules, limited capacity, prior selection, specific registration, or restricted access.

The purchase of a general admission ticket does not automatically guarantee participation in all special activities, unless expressly stated in the purchased ticket category.

Additional benefits linked to certain ticket categories may be subject to availability, capacity, order of arrival, prior approval, registration, or specific rules disclosed by the organizers.

11. Use of Image, Voice, and Name

By participating in the event, the participant authorizes, free of charge, the use of their image, voice, and name in photos, videos, broadcasts, recordings, institutional materials, social media, campaigns, reports, promotional content, and historical records of FUTURA AI Conference 2026.

This authorization is granted for institutional, promotional, journalistic, educational, and event publicity purposes, without territorial limitation, for the maximum period permitted under applicable law.

If the participant does not wish to be individually filmed or photographed, they must notify the organizers in advance, without prejudice to the general capture of images of the event environment.

12. Recordings and Broadcasts

The organizers may record, photograph, broadcast, edit, and disclose, in whole or in part, talks, panels, interviews, debates, activations, workshops, and other event activities.

The participant is not authorized to record, broadcast, or commercially exploit event content without the organizers’ prior express authorization.

Personal recordings for private use may be permitted, provided they do not interfere with the experience of other participants, do not violate third-party rights, and do not conflict with specific instructions issued by the organizers.

13. Personal Data Protection

Personal data provided at the time of purchase, registration, check-in, or participation in the event may be used for ticket management, participant communications, access control, certificate issuance, security, institutional relations, compliance with legal obligations, and the disclosure of information related to the event.

As ticket sales will be carried out through Eventbrite, certain data may also be processed by the platform in accordance with its own terms and privacy policies.

The organizers undertake to process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, especially the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

14. Organizer Liability

The organizers will use their best efforts to hold the event in accordance with the published proposal, maintaining quality, safety, and consistency with the conference’s positioning.

However, the organizers shall not be liable for delays, changes, substitutions, guest absences, transportation issues, third-party failures, vendor unavailability, government restrictions, weather events, public health issues, decisions by public authorities, Eventbrite platform unavailability, or events of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances.

15. Acceptance of the Terms

By completing the ticket purchase on Eventbrite, the participant declares that they are aware of and agree to these Terms of Use and Ticket Purchase Policy, as well as the rules of the platform used for the sale.

The organizers may update these Terms at any time by publishing the updated version through the event’s official channels or on the official Eventbrite page.
